Research and sources
We prefer primary sources: peer-reviewed studies, official statistics and original reports. Articles list their sources so readers can check them. When evidence is limited, mixed or disputed, we say so rather than overstate it.
Accuracy and corrections
Articles are reviewed before publication and revisited over time; the date of the latest substantial update appears at the top of each piece. If we get something wrong, we correct it and note significant corrections in the article.
Money and health topics
Articles on personal finance and wellbeing are educational. We do not give individual advice, we avoid promises about outcomes, and we encourage readers to consult qualified professionals about their own situation.
Use of AI
We use AI tools to help research, draft and edit. People remain responsible for what we publish: sources are checked, claims are verified and the final judgement is human.
Independence
If a page contains affiliate links or sponsored content, it is clearly labelled. Commercial relationships do not determine our conclusions.
